SONG OF THE WEEK!!!!!!!!

Matthew...DONE!!!!!!!!!!!!

I took on a challenge, A challenge to read the New Testament in 90 days. and to read it in 90 days, and if I skip a day,I will  make it up. I will not take longer then 90 days!

I started May 7th. Its been awesome! And guess what?!?!??!?! I FINISHED READING MATTHEW TODAY!!!!!!!!!!

 I am horrible at reading my Bible every day and when I went to Dare 2 Share, Zane Black suggested you try it.  I thought about it for 2 weeks and I never did stop thinking about it, so that was my signal that God wanted me to do it. I talked to a girl from youth group about it and we (or I) are hoping to start a challenge in our youth group soon! I started it early to get a feel for it. Who would of ever thought you could READ MATTHEW IN 12 DAYS!

Wednesday Photography Tip: Perspective

Welcome to Wednesday Photography Tip! This week is Perspective!  Here are some ideas:

 (above) Drew took this picture. He was at the bottom of the stair case and shoot up. The steps and the rail also give the picture a little bit of character) 

 (above) I took this. Instead of shooting straight on, you can shoot at somebody left or right. And the way the wall draws your eye backwards(kinda) is also a was to add perspective.

Mother's Day 2012

Yesterday was Mother's day! We had a really fun day! After church we went home and got the fishing poles out. Mom went to a store to go shopping and went went to a pond to fish! While we were at the pond we found a snake. It was really cool. We (meaning the Dad, Ben, Logan, Ethan, and Rachel (for a little bit) ) couldn't catch anything, so we went to the river. It was a GORGEOUS place to take pictures! They had this amazing bridge! I got some really good shots of the boys too!

Funny Blonde Jokes

HORSE BACK RIDING

A blonde decides to try horseback riding, even though she has had no lessons or prior experience. She mounts the horse unassisted and the horse immediately springs into motion.

It gallops along at a steady and rhythmic pace, but the blonde begins to slip from the saddle. In terror, she grabs for the horse's mane, but cannot seem to get a firm grip. She tries to throw her arms around the horse's neck, but she slides down the side of the horse anyway. The horse gallops along, seemingly oblivious to its slipping rider.

Finally, giving up her frail grip, she leaps away from the horse to try and throw herself to safety.

Unfortunately, her foot became entangled in the stirrup and she is now at the mercy of the horse's pounding hooves as her head is struck against the ground again and again.

As her head is battered against the ground, she is mere moments away from unconsciousness when

Frank, the Wal-Mart manager runs out to shut the horse off. 

A BLONDE AND A LAWYER

A blonde and a lawyer are seated next to each other on a flight from Los Angeles to New York.
The lawyer asks if she would like to play a fun game. The blonde, who's tired and just wants to take a nap, politely declines and rolls over to the window. But the lawyer persists and says the game is easy and fun. He explains, "I ask you a question, and if you don't know the answer, you pay me $5, and vice versa."
Again, she declines and tries to get some sleep. The lawyer, now agitated, says, "Okay, if you don't know the answer you pay me $5, and if I don't know the answer, I will pay you $500."
This catches the blonde's attention and, figuring there will be no end to this torment unless she plays, agrees to the game.
The lawyer asks the first question: "What's the distance from the earth to the moon?"
The blonde doesn't say a word, reaches into her purse, pulls out a $5 bill and hands it to the lawyer.
"Your turn," says the lawyer.
She asks, "What goes up a hill with three legs and comes down with four legs?"
The lawyer, puzzled, takes out his laptop computer and searches all his references, no answer. He taps into the air phone with his modem and searches the Net and the Library of Congress. No answer. Frustrated, he sends e-mail to all his friends and coworkers-to no avail. After an hour, he wakes the blonde and hands her $500.
The blonde says, "Thank you," and turns back to get some more sleep.
The lawyer, who is more than a little miffed, wakes the blonde and asks, "Well, what's the answer?"
Without a word, the blonde reaches into her purse, and hands the lawyer $5, and goes back to sleep.
And you thought blondes were dumb.

FLYING A HELICOPER

A blonde had learned to fly a helicopter and was ready for her first solo flight. She was worried about going up alone however and asked her instructor to keep in touch over the radio.
After she climbed 1000 feet, she radioed in. "Everything is fine. The view up here is beautiful!"
After 2000 feet, she radioed again, saying how well things were going. The instructor watched her climb over 3000 feet, and was beginning to worry that she hadn't radioed in.
Then, he watched in horror as she crashed about half a mile away. He ran over and pulled her from the wreckage.
When he asked what happened, she said: "I don't know! Everything was going fine, but as I got higher, I was starting to get cold. I can't remember anything after I turned off the big fan." 

straight hair

Life is good. Its really hot inside our house for some reason. Yesterday Mother straightend my hair. I like it. Here is picture of it.

She did it yesterday and I havent brushed it yet this morning, so it will be straighter when I do. Yesterday at youth group a girl tried to tell me my hair wasn't thick. Then she felt how thick my hair is and then relized she was wrong. My Aunt and I always joke that our hair is like giant affros (sorry affrro peeps), even though our hair isnt really like that in many ways, our hair is crazy.

Wednesday Photography Tip: Editing

(this post is for the more "photography" people :) and if your not and want to be then read this, but if your not, i am saving you time!  )

Welcome to the first Wednesday Photography Tip! This week is: Editing. Editing is SUPER imortant. I realize now, that editing is really important if you want to become a photographer one day. Pictures look x10 times better. Sometimes your camera dosent pick up the color or you want the color to be more vibrant.

This weekend we had another baseball tournament. Ben's team got 2nd place. The tournament got rained out on saturday, so all the games where played on sunday. It was kinda rainy and it was cold bc everything was wet. Ariel, Aaron, Drew, and I just talked pretty much all 3 games they played. We were making names for people using there initals. So Rachel's name was:

It was pretty interesting. Mine was:

We all had fun talking and laughing at each other. We pretty much stood in the supply\garage thing and talked the whole game and didnt pay any attension. I was smart and brought a heavy fleece blanket and didnt get wet!


We have all been really tired since the weekend. But is was fun :)

One of my birthday presents was the book InZane which you can pick up by clicking HERE. I got it this morning and I finished it this morning. It took 1 and 1\2 hours. It was good and you should read it.

I am having fun so far! just exploring my present, and that is just so much fun! We are going to see a movie in a little bit and then hang out!

Baseball Games

Spelling...DONE!, baseball, GIVEAWAY!!!

We are going to have a little bit of fun! The person that guesses closest to the amount of baseball games I go to is going to win something. It will be a good something and not a lame something! So here is how you enter:

DARE 2 SHARE

In my last post I said that Drew and I were going to Dare 2 Share (d2s) this past weekend. d2s is a conference for youth, and they do a bunch of things there. To say the d2s was AWESOME is a MAJOR understatement.  It was the coolest thing ever. :)

Friday was awesome, and Saturday was THE best. Part of the conference (well most of it actually) was about sharing your faith. So every youth group that was at d2s picked something for their youth group to go and do. We went to the mall close by (smallest mall in the world...a little bigger than a Walmart). We split into groups of 3. Prayed. And them went around the mall to talk to people about the G.O.S.P.E.L. (see video below). At first we (my group) was kinda freaked out. Going up to a random person and talking about it was kinda.....you get the point. We went into a Macy's and walked around looking for somebody to talk to. Long story short, we ended up talking to 2 girls who are Catholic. We started off by asking if they had every heard of the Gospel, and they said the only thing they had heard of was "Gospel Music". We went over the G.O.S.P.E.L. with them and when we asked them if they were going to go to Heaven when they died they said no. We talked to them a bit more about God, and it was AWESOME! I can tell you all more, but its a long story to type.

We left after that, and we had about 15 mins. until we had to meet back with the youth group. We found another group of girls from our church (I won't say names) and asked them if they had talked to anybody. They said no (and everybody was supposed to talk to somebody at least once) so we all teamed up (there where 6 of us) and we decided to talk to 1 more group of people. I am leaving out the gross part of the story. But we eventually found 3 girls walking. We asked them if they new what the GOSPEL was and the one girl said, "Isn't that about God?" and we said, "Yes." She said, "Well I am a atheist".....We went over the GOSPEL with her and she kept saying, "Well I have a reason." We finally asked her what the reason was and she said that last year, (her whole family were Christians) her mom was really sick and she prayed for a miracle and her mom ended up dying. We told her that God works everything for the good of those who love Him (Romans 8:28). She said that she just doesn't understand how her Mom dying is for the good. One of the girls in our group said,"Well this really awesome guy at the conference we are at (Zane Black) said that when we pray God responds with 3 answers: Now, Later, or Something Better. And for your Mom, its something better. She got to go to Heaven." We got to talk for a couple more minutes, and we told her that wouldn't she feel better if one day she could go to Heaven and see her Mom again and she said yes. We told her how she could do that and them she thanked us, and we left.

It was SO awesome to talk to somebody that was hurting and she really responded well. Everyone in her family are Christians except her and I hope she talked to them more when she got home.

:) So, I am doing 10 pages a day in spelling so I can be done with it. I will be done on Tuesday. Pretty excited (not really, but it will be nice to be done with spelling). So what else is new in you all's life. Mine is the same.

Baseball games started. Drew had his first official game last night. He won. I missed it. I was at youth group. Youth group us awesome. This weekend we are going to dare 2 share with our youth group. Gonna be fun. I think. I have never been there. Drew hasn't been there either. I'll blog about it later.

Anyway..my brain is fried and I think i need to go do grammar now............      :((((((((((((((
 me + grammar = not fun, but I want to finish the book before the end of school, cuz I don't want to do it in the summer.

 We had a birthday this week! Happy Birthday Rachel! The baby of the family is 4! Not so little anymore! This weekend we are having family over for Easter and spring birthdays.

We are going to replace our pictures on one of the walls. This is the picture of the boys that will be put up. I love it!  Then everybody has individual pictures that also go up.  Rachel and I have a picture of us that will go up to. I will post the final products when we finish ordering them and putting them up :)

 Spring is coming (or has already), and our pear tree is blooming! Its amazing how these flowers are going to turn into pears! The tree is HUGE and covered in them..it looks think a floating flower garden. 

 The flowers are so pretty.

 My friend and I are painting the inside of the clubhouse. We are painting over our splatter (which was horrible :)  ). 3 of the walls are painted white and then we have to finish painting the other wall and then we have to do designs with lime and olive green. It should be pretty cool, and I will post the pictures when we finish!

Birthday

Friday was Mom's birthday. We hung out at home and then went out for dinner. We gave her a blanket with all of our pictures on it, then Dad surprised her and they went to a hotel on Saturday. Then they came back Sunday.

2morrow is Rachel's birthday. She will be 4....the little baby of the family is gonna be four :(  . It's good really, and I have dreamed of the days where I can have real conversations with her. I love the moments now, but sometimes they are a wee bit crazy.

Well...that's all for now!

You Know You Are A Wagner When:

You think it is cool that older people can pull out there teeth and put them back in

You start singing "pitcher has a big butt" because you have been to alot of baseball games

You get used to drums, guitar, and a barking dog in the background

You go through so much gum it's incredible (60 pieces in less than 2 hours)

You get asked, "Are they all yours?" everywhere you go

You are driving and listening to a song with 4 out of tune voices singing along

You are used to sleeping 8 people in a hotel room made for 4

You can sense that somebody is going to come in from the trampoline crying (count to 3 and 9 out of 10 times somebody will come in crying)

You laugh when you are in pain

You almost run your Grandma into your house when you were driving her on your go-cart

You think a zip line less than 200 ft. is lame

You get tired of smiling after the 1st picture

Ok! So in my last post I asked what you all wanted me to post about. I will do the FAQ's post next, so ask alot of questions in the comments so I can answer them. Don't be afraid to post more than 1 question, the more the merrier. :)

The other day my parents decided to paint the inside of the house. This past summer we painted all of the kids rooms. Now we wanted to paint the main area walls. Some of it just has to be touched up. The big areas we are painting:

Entrance- The area by the front door.

Hall way- The hallway was a creme color, now its the same color as the living room.

Family Room- This has not been painted yet, but we are painting a completely new color!


So, here are the before pics. (i dont have a before pic of the family room) I will post the after pics in the next post with the FAQ's.
 There was quite alot of patching :)
